Our location
Close to Monte Amiata, and to the cities of Radicofani, Montepulciano and Montalcino, as well as to the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni and San Casciano. 18 km away from A1 motorway between Rome and Florence (Exit Chiusi- Chianciano Terme) and 4 km away from S.S. Cassia, looking to S. Quirico d’Orcia and Pienza.

Directions from Rome-Florence motorway
- Exit Chiusi Chianciano Terme
- Drive direction of Chianciano Terme
- After approximately km 7, turn left at the junction Monte Amiata - Cassia
- After meters 10 turn sharp right direction of Monte Amiata - Cassia (it’s the ring road which allows not to enter into Chianciano)
- Follow directions for Monte Amiata - Cassia
- After km 4, you will find a spot called La Foce (Cipressi), continue to descent
- Drive beyond the two junctions, the first at your left leads to Contignano, the second at your right leads to Siena. Continue driving straight ahead following the signs of Castelvecchio
- After approximately meters 400, slightly before a flyover which crosses the street, you will find the main entrance to Borgo di Castelvecchio on your left
- “dirt” road, drive up to the Borgo
- distance from the exit from the mtotrway to Borgo di Castelvecchio: approximately km 18
Directions from Siena (via SS Cassia)
- Follow directions for Rome
- Bypass few villages such as Monteroni d’Arbia , Buonconvento always following directions for Rome
- After having bypassed S. Quirico d'Orcia, after km 4, you will find a cross-junctions, turn left in direction of Contignano, Chianciano Terme, Roma
- Follow this road for approximately km 4 until you reach a junction at your left for Pienza, at your right for Bagni San Filippo. Bypass the junction and continue straight ahead for further km 5
- Slightly before3 a flyover which crosses the street, take ramp at your right in direction of Rome and Abbadia S. Salvatore, approximately meter 400 straight, main entrance to Castelvecchio at your left
- “dirt” road, drive up to the Borgo
