Do you speak any foreign language?
Yes, we do speak English and French.

What are the check in and out policies?
Check-in: from 3 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Check-out: until 11 a.m.

Is it an hotel?
No, Borgo di Castelvecchio it’s an historic hotel where guests are received by the owners themselves. Once upon a time atmosphere matches with the best available comforts.

Is there a parking area?
Yes, there is a private open air parking area available for guests.

Is there a internet connection?
Yes, in the whole Borgo there is free Wi-Fi available.

Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, there are two swimming pools open from April still October.

Is there a spa?
No, but upon request you may reserve beauty treatments and massages directly in the residences or overlooking the landscape at the swimming pool.
At short distance you may also visit the well known thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni, Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni.

Is there a baby sitting service?
Yes upon reservation.

How big is the Borgo?
Borgo di Castelvecchio is about 20.000 mq., every house is about 100 meters far from the central square.

When was the Borgo built?
The houses and the Villa making go back to the year 1000 with following annexations in the XIV and XV century. The different times of construction are still visible nowadays.

How have the premises been preserved?
All houses have been restored preserving as much as possible the original structures and style to let the traces of the past and subsequent interventions.
All premises since 1985 and currently dedicated to guests go under constant maintenance and widening combining full respect of the original structures with the best available modern comforts.

Is smoking allowed?
No, only outside.

Is there a TV in every room?
TV is available in every sitting room of the houses and in the reception.

Do you offer half-board?
Yes, upon request.

How do we check rooms availability?

Does the Farm sell its products?
Yes, at the reception you may purchase our red wine D.O.C. Orcia “Perignano”, our Exta virgin Olive Oil and our honey.

Is the Church available for ceremonies?
Yes, Roman Catholic ceremonies.

Is there a restaurant?
Yes, but only for guests upon reservation (see the Granaio).

Is the Restaurant “a la carte”?
Our chef every morning suggests to the guests a menu inspired to the local tradition according to the guests preferences, the season and the occasion.

Is there a dress code for meals?
The atmosphere is comfortable yet refined. Every guest can follow his outfitting mood, with respect towards other guests and general atmosphere.

Do we need to reserve a table?
Yes, and also prevent the reception in case of cancellation.

When is the restaurant closed?
Never, it’s open every time our guests need it.

Is it possible to organize events?
Yes, Borgo di Castelvecchio is perfectly equipped and staffed for company events, congresses and weddings. Inside the “Granaio” we can sit 84 people, on the central square 250.
In case of an event, Borgo di Castelvecchio will be entirely reserved for the event guests.
